The Yardstick on March the 17th was won by Nigel, Evelyn and Arnie (with help from super-sub Eric!). They beat Christine, Glenys and Ken in the final after a very close fought and enjoyable contest throughout the day. Thanks to Derek for his organisation.

Club Friendlies
The following club friendlies have been arranged over the winter months.
Sunday 10th December V Stoke Vale. Home, mixed, 2 rinks, 2 pm start
Sunday 4th February V Taunton Vivary. Away, mixed, 3 rinks 2-30 start
Sunday 25th February V Winscombe. Home, mixed, 2 rinks, 2 pm start
Sunday 7th April V Taunton Vivary. Home, mixed, 2 rinks, 2-30 start

Torquay Tour 2024
Another excellently organized tour, so many thanks to Christine and Ken for all their hard work.
We started with a win against the local team from Torquay/Paignton but sadly lost the main match over two days to Winscombe. After a great battle they took the trophy with the score at 9-7.
We also did not win at the bingo or the quizzes but in a way we were all winners because it was such an enjoyable weekend. Next year is already booked! Details from Christine later.
