Puriton Bowling Club was formed in 1989 as part of Puriton Playing Fields Trust based at Churchfield Drove, Puriton, which is located just off the motorway at Junction 23 on the outskirts of Bridgwater.

The club has two rinks 36.6 metres long by 4.2 metres wides.

We pride ourselves on being a welcoming club promoting the game of bowls as a good form of exercise and by creating an atmosphere of companionship and friendly competition, or it can be just somewhere to enjoy a game of bowls on a social level.

We welcome bowlers of all abilities new and old, offering coaching to new bowlers by registered coaches if required.  We also have adapted wheelchairs to assist the less mobile to enjoy the full benefits of the game on all levels.

Puriton Bowling Club is open all year around and offers a full programme of events in summer and winter.  In addition we support local charities and run coffee mornings and other social events.

So, if you are looking for somewhere to enjoy a new hobby or sport, or looking for a new place to bowl, please give Puriton Bowling Club consideration and we look forward to seeing you in the future.
